Frank Astran (Bradley)
Frank is so happy to be working with theatrevolution. Most recently Frank has been seen performing Shakespeare with Declan Adams Theatre and Shakespeare by the Sea. He is also a founding member of The Last Metro Company here in Los Angeles. Frank studied and earned a degree in Theatre Arts from Cal State University Fullerton. He would like to thank his partner Gary, his friends, and his family for all their love and support.

Cy K. Eaton, Lighting Designer
A fellow alumnus of Santa Rosa's Summer Repertory Theatre, Cy is excited to work with theatrevolution and again illuminate the stage, despite his many efforts to stray into more reputable vocations. Mr. Marmalade is his first production in LA since relocating here 8 months ago to design theme parks for oil sheikhs and Russian millionaires. Previously, Cy has designed numerous productions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and an international array of architectural projects, including the Winnipeg and Vancouver International Airports, Epic Systems Learning Center, and Levi's retail stores. Cy studied lighting at Whitman College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds a Lighting Certification from the NCQLP.

Megan Grey Gobel (Emily)
Megan is proud to be a part of theatrevolution's production of "Mr. Marmalade." She is a graduate of Northwestern University's theatre and voice programs and has appeared in Chicago productions of: A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To the Forum (Philia) and Anyone Can Whistle (Fay Apple).Other credits include: Assassins (Squeaky Fromme), Once Upon A Mattress (Nightingale), Candide (Queen of El Dorado), and The Magic Flute (Ensemble). Megan’s loves her parents and friends for keeping her laughing and sane, and didn’t really have an imaginary friend growing up instead she had a wonderful younger sister who helped her get in enough trouble.

Michelle Haack (Emily u/s), Stage Manager
Michelle Haack is thrilled to be a part of theatrevolution's Los Angeles debut! She has a degree in Theatre from Cal State Fullerton. Some of her favorite roles have included Rose in Dancing at Lughnasa, Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Rosa Malek in A Bright Room Called Day, and Katie in Katie and Frank. Michelle would like to thank her family and friends for their unfaltering support in all aspects of her life. She would also like to thank Justin Waggle for the plethora of time, energy, love, and vision he has put into this production.

Sasha Harris (Sookie)
Sasha Harris earned her MFA at University of California, Irvine and her theatrical career has afforded her the opportunity to live in Chicago, San Diego, New York, and now amidst the magic of La-La Land. You may have seen her in Lucid by Proxy's well received Psalms of a Questionable Nature or more recently in Theatre Unleashed's Attraction/Logic. Look for her in the season finale of GOLD (www.goldtheseries.com). Past theatre credits include: Lysistrata (Lysistrata), Fraulein Schneider (Cabaret), Charlotte (Moon Over Buffalo), Mary Anne Rowen (The Kentucky Cycle), Creation (The Frankenstein Project), Mallory (City of Angeles). Film: Disfigured (nominated for Best Picture ’09 PRISM Award). Sasha is an accomplished mixed media artist, teaching classes in recycled book arts in Santa Monica at The Urban Craft center. She extends her deep gratitude to everyone involved with and attending Mr. Marmalade.

Gary Karp (Mr. Marmalade)
Gary Karp is an L.A. native who has been acting for nearly 30 years. He graduated from CalArts with a BFA, and has appeared in many national commercials, as well as TV shows like “Mr. Belvedere” and “The Twilight Zone”. He has been seen on the L.A. stage at many theatres, with companies such as Lucid by Proxy (IRL, Jack Cracker, Spare Parts & Cynic), Andre de Lorde’s Grand Guignolers de Paris (A Grand Guignol Children’s Show, A Grand Guignol Christmas Show, The Final Kiss), and Shakespeare Festival/LA (Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night). He is now starting to try the writing game as well.

Shannon Nelson (Lucy)
Shannon Nelson is grateful for the diversion that playing a 4-year old has given her from general life events as of late. There’s nothing like playing with friends. Currently you can catch Shannon as the nasty Scottish Martha Thistlethwait in the acclaimed webseries GOLD (www.goldtheseries.com). With her theatre company Lucid by Proxy she has appeared in 13 original productions including originating the role of Priscilla in Rick Robinson's recently published Asymmetry. Films include a supporting lead in New Line Cinema's Drop Dead Gorgeous, TheCampushouse.com and on TV you may have caught a glimpse of her in any of her numerous national commercials or seen her guest spots on ER, The West Wing or The Practice. She has also appeared in LA with the Colony Theatre (The Country Girl), Musical Theatre West (Hello Dolly!), Nomme de Guerre (Pains of Youth) and others. www.ShannonNelson.com

Patty Ramsey, Assistant Director
Patty Ramsey received her undergraduate degrees of Drama and Psychology from UC Irvine. She has directed, stage managed, and produced for the lovely theater company Lucid by Proxy and encourages you to visit their website to read about her accolades. She is currently preparing to embark on a journey to Nepal to make a documentary and teach some Nepalese kids some theater. Christine Terrisse (Sunflower)
Christine Terrisse is a recent graduate of the theatre program at Cal State University Fullerton. While at Fullerton, she starred in the world premiere of Exit Neon, a solo piece about her family. Some of her favorite roles include Sonya in Uncle Vanya and Paulinka in A Bright Room Called Day. While furthering her artistic pursuits in Los Angeles, Christine dreams of living in Europe.
This performance is dedicated to the memory of her grandfather, Raymond Terrisse who loved all the flowers in his garden.

Justin Waggle, Director
Justin successfully pulled a Theatre degree from the crushing maw of California State University, Fullerton and has spent many a summer at Summer Repertory Theatre (SRT) in Santa Rosa. He has worked with the Sacramento Shakespeare Festival, the Fair Oaks Theatre and The Great American Melodrama and Vaudeville among other notorious establishments. Mr. Marmalade marks Justin’s first foray into the world of directing after many years of acting, stage managing and silently redirecting scenes in his head.
Justin is a founding member of theatrevolution. He is particularly proud of theatrevolution’s association with Lucid by Proxy and eternally grateful for the support he has received from this vitally important theatre group. Justin would like to thank his family for their support and encouragement, James and Michelle for their sturdy shoulders, and all of his friends in this amazing network of people that yearn to support the arts. Justin would also like to offer his sincere thanks and deepest respect to Sifu Carl Totten and his brothers and sisters at The Taoist Institute for picking him up and putting him back on his path.

John Wallis (George/Cactus/Man)
John Wallis is a Certified Massage Therapist with a BFA in Theater Arts from UC Santa Barbara. In addition to his expertise in performing the role of a potted plant, he is a great singer and was last seen on stage performing in an original cabaret hosted by the Academy for New Musical Theater. John is thankful to have been able to retain his goatee for this project.

James Paul Xavier (Larry)
This is James' first show with theatrevolution, and he is proud of this collaboration between theatrevolution and Lucid by Proxy, a theatre company of which he is a founding member. In addition to being an actor, he is also LbP's resident prop designer and scenic artist. Some of his favorite roles include Ellard in The Foreigner, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Malcolm in The Full Monty & Simon in Hay Fever. James doesn't recall ever having imaginary friends as a child, but does recall on several occasions imagining an armed murderer in the house in order to be prepared for self defense techniques and escape routes.
